RESEARCH
-
Pseudonymous Analysis
We use certain data to understand the interests of Visitors to certain areas
of our web site. We simply use this information for research and analysis.
We do not connect it with any specific individuals (instead is it a pseudonymous
identifier). This report simply says that someone visited these pages and
did so from these pages. It also tells us if and when they used certain links
or placed an order (we can use this information to find out what site placement
is most effective and easy-to-find). This information can be used to gauge
the habits, interests, and/or other specific characteristics of web surfers.
Except where used in Client-only areas, this report also does not know who
is a Client and who is a simple web surfer. For the purpose of this report,
there is no need to know who these people are.
-
Pseudonymous Decision
We use certain data to create relevant content to display to the web site
User based on one or more previous pages. The most common use of this is
to display a modified "Add-ons" page that allows you to see what you already
have in the Web Hosting Account you are ordering. The function in this example
must know that you are ordering a Web Hosting Account and how much of each
available Add-on the Web Hosting Account has. It does not need to know who
you are. This refers to new Web Hosting Accounts.
